I’ve spent more than three decades inside HR, leadership and business; from global organizations to growing businesses, and from the executive table to the very human conversations that happen behind closed doors.
I know what it looks like to make difficult people decisions, lead through change, build teams, navigate culture and carry the responsibility that comes with being the person others rely on.
I also know what happens when the life around that career starts changing.
Divorce. Loss. Caring for a parent. Adult children building lives of their own. Leaving corporate. Looking around and asking, “What do I actually want this next part to be about?”
I didn’t leave corporate because I suddenly stopped being ambitious.
I left because success had changed shape.
And that is part of what brought me here.
With businesses, the work is about getting underneath recurrring people and leadership problems to see what is actually driving them.
With accomplished, high-functioning women, the work is about understanding the patterns they no longer want to carry forward, and deciding what success gets to mean now.
I didn’t stop being ambitious.
I became more particular about what deserved my ambition.
Most leaders and business owners I work with already know a lot.
They’ve read the books, taken the courses, sat through the workshops and heard the advice. The problem is rarely a lack of information. It’s what happens when pressure hits, the old pattern takes over, or the business keeps recreating the same issue.
That’s why my work goes beyond knowing what to do.
We get underneath what is driving the behaviour, so the change has a better chance of actually sticking.
I believe in:
Being over Doing: Leading with intention instead of automatically stepping in, fixing or reacting.
Balance over Overwhelm: Creating results without giving your work everything you have left.
Culture over Checklists: Building workplaces and leadership practices people actually experience, not just policies that look good on paper.
30+ years inside HR and leadership.
I’ve sat at the executive table, led through growth and change, handled complex people decisions and seen what happens when leadership looks fine on paper but doesn’t work in real life.
More than one lens.
HR. Business. Leadership. Coaching. Behaviour. Somatic practice. I’m rarely looking at just one piece of the problem.
I pay attention to what’s underneath.
The policy may be clear. The leader may know what to do. The woman may already know the answer. What interests me is why the same pattern keeps showing up anyway.
Practical change that holds.
I’m not interested in insight that sounds brilliant in the room and disappears by Monday. The work needs to show up in decisions, conversations, behaviour and how people actually lead and live.
