The Shift Intensive

3 hours. One situation. A different way forward.

You've worked hard to build this life.

So why aren't you enjoying more of it?

You have the career. The experience. The responsibilities. The life you've spent years building.

And yet, it's Sunday afternoon and you're already thinking about Monday and the week ahead.

You've got that conversation that needs to happen. The person who wants something from you. The decision you haven't made.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, y ou're wondering when you're going to have a little more time to enjoy your own life!

Because here's what keeps happening →

You tell yourself you'll make some changes when things settle down.

When work isn't quite so busy... when evreyone else is taken care of... when you finally have time to sit and breathe.

How's that working out for you?

Maybe it's time to look at why the same things keep happening, even though you keep telling yourself you're going to do something differently.

Welcome to The Shift Intensive

Three private hours to get underneath one situation that's taking far too much of your time, attention or energy, figure out what's keeping it going, and decide what you're going to do about it.

Investment: $997 + HST

Tell me if any of this sounds familiar

You said yes. Again.

Your calendar was already full. You really didn't have the time. But someone needed you, and saying no felt more uncomfortable than squeezing one more thing into your week.

Now you're annoyed. With them... with yourself... with the whole bloody situation.

And you're the one paying for it with your time.

You can't stop thinking about what someone said.

The conversation ended hours ago.

You're making dinner, and suddenly you're back in it.

“Maybe I should've said it differently.”

“Did she think I was being difficult?”

“Should I send a follow-up?”

You've spent half your evening having a conversation the other person probably isn't even thinking about anymore.

You're tired of being the one everyone depends on.

At work, you're the person people come to when something needs figuring out.

At home, you're the one remembering, organizing, checking in and making sure things get done.

You're proud of being capable.

But sometimes you'd love to know what would happen if you stopped being responsible for quite so much.

And then, of course, you feel guilty for even thinking that.

You've started questioning what you actually want.

You worked hard for the position, the income, the home and the life you have.

So why do you spend so much time thinking about what you'd change?

And when someone asks what you want next, you're surprisingly good at explaining what everyone else needs.

Your own answer? That's a little harder.

Here's what I want you to consider

The problem you see is rarely the problem you have.

Take that inability to say no.

You probably know how to say the word, but perhaps you're worried someone will be disappointed. Maybe you're used to being the dependable one... or you've learned that keeping other people happy makes life easier.

So you agree.

Then at some point you resent it, so you promise yourself you won't do it again...

Until someone asks, and there you are... Again!

That's the part we need to understand.

Because you can spend years trying to manage your calendar, improve your boundaries or get better at making decisions, but if you don't understand what's driving your responses, it's remarkably easy to keep repeating them.

So what actually happens during these 3 hours?

We take one real situation from your life and work through it together.

Something that's happening now, or something you've been thinking about, avoiding, questioning or trying to change without much success.

You're not coming to sit through three hours of me telling you what you already know. We're going to get into it!

Hour 1: What the hell is actually going on?

Let's get the whole situation out on the table.

What happened? Who's involved? What are you telling yourself about it? What have you already tried?

We'll look at the facts, the assumptions you're making and the expectations you're carrying.

Because sometimes what you believe is happening and what's actually happening are two very different things.

Hour 2: Why are you still doing this?

This is where things can get interesting.

We'll explore what happens when you think about responding differently.

Do you immediately worry about disappointing someone?

Do you feel guilty about putting yourself first?

Are you afraid of how someone might react?

Does your body tense up before you've even had the conversation?

We'll look at the habits, expectations and patterns that may be keeping you in the same situation.

And where it's useful, we'll bring in somatic work to explore what you're experiencing beyond what you can explain logically.

You might discover that the thing you've been trying to fix isn't actually the thing that needs changing.

Hour 3: Okay. So what are you going to do differently?

Now we put it into practice.

What decision needs to be made?

What conversation needs to happen?

What responsibility are you ready to stop carrying?

What will you do when someone doesn't like the change?

We'll work through the next steps, including how you want to communicate them and how to handle some of the discomfort that may come with doing things differently.

You'll leave with a plan that's yours, built around the actual situation you came in with.

What can change in 3 hours?

Let's go back to the woman who keeps saying yes... she comes in frustrated because everyone expects so much from her.

As we examine it, she may recognize that she's been saying yes before she's even considered whether she wants to, and that the real difficulty isn't finding the right words to say no.

It's tolerating the possibility that someone might be disappointed.

That's a different problem to work on.

Now she can decide what she's prepared to take on, how she'll communicate it, and what she'll do when the familiar guilt shows up.

Will everyone suddenly respect her boundaries? Of course not.

But she can begin responding differently. And that changes what happens next.

That's the kind of shift we're working toward.

One situation. A clearer understanding of what's driving it. A different response. And a practical way to begin.

You also have 2 weeks of post support, because it's one thing to make a decision when you're sitting with your coach, but it's another when your boss calls, your mother makes a comment, your colleague pushes back or that familiar guilt starts tapping you on the shoulder.

That's why your Intensive includes 2 weeks of private Telegram support, Tuesday through Thursday.

You can bring the situations that come up as you begin putting your plan into practice.

We can work through what happened, what you're noticing and what you want to do next.

You won't have to figure out that first part on your own.

What's included in your $997 investment?

* 3 hours of private coaching, focused on one meaningful challenge, situation or decision.

* A deeper look at what's really happening and what's keeping the situation in place.

* Leadership coaching, practical problem-solving and somatic work where appropriate.

* 2 weeks of private Telegram support, Tuesday through Thursday, to help you put the work into practice.

Why me?

I'm Caroline Baird.

For more than 30 years, I've worked in HR and executive leadership, helping people navigate difficult decisions, complicated relationships, workplace challenges and change.

I've also been the woman working ridiculous hours, taking care of everyone else and telling myself I'd get to my own life eventually.

I had the career, the responsibility and the things I'd worked so hard to achieve, and I reached a point where I had to ask myself whether I actually wanted to keep living the way I was.

So when we work together, I bring both sides of that experience.

The practical, strategic thinking that comes from decades in leadership.

And the deeper work of understanding why we keep doing things that aren't working for us anymore.

I'll listen. I'll ask the questions that matter. I'll challenge you when something doesn't add up.

And yes, we'll probably laugh at some of the things you've been putting yourself through, because sometimes, once you can see it clearly, you wonder how the hell you didn't notice it sooner.

Here's my question for you...

How much longer are you prepared to keep having the same conversation, carrying the same responsibility or putting off the same decision?

Another month?

Another year?

You already know something needs to change.

Let's find out what's really keeping it in place and what you're going to do about it.
